A Geometric Lighting Object with a History

The " FJ Elements " pendant lamp was designed by Finn Juhl in 1963 and embodies his characteristic fusion of architecture and organic design. Its graphic appearance is based on clean geometries, combined with playful angles and the distinctive two-part shade. The lower section can be tilted and rotated to direct the light precisely. The design is complemented by a removable diffuser that creates a soft, glare-free light. Originally produced for only seven years, the lamp was reissued in 2013 as part of an exhibition and is now being re-released in 2025—each with a matte finish and fabric cord. The lamp is based on Finn Juhl’s original sketches, in which he described the concept as a series of “ & ” elements “ & .”
