New design objects are created from old leather

Lind DNA uses leather scraps left over from the production of shoes or handbags to manufacture its products. First cut into small pieces, the leather scraps are bonded back together with 20% natural rubber. This material blend makes the leather significantly more durable than conventional leather. It is also water- and stain-resistant and can be easily cleaned. Neither the leather lid nor the wooden box is dishwasher-safe. Both can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
