Mushroom-shaped wall sconce

The 204 wall sconce, “ &, ‘The Mushroom’ &,” by Le Klint , was designed in 1957 by Vilhelm Wohlert for the honorary residence of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Niels Bohr in Copenhagen. The lampshade’s unique shape and the lovingly crafted bracket make this fixture a real eye-catcher. Whether installed in a group in the hallway or individually above a nightstand, the fixture provides pleasant, glare-free light wherever it’s placed. The pleated lampshade is hand-pleated by the pleating experts at Le Klint in the Danish city of Odense, and the wall mount is made of untreated, light-colored oak.
