Handmade Wire Baskets from Sweden

Korbo ’s handmade wire baskets trace their history back to Sweden in the early 1920s. The baskets are timeless and beautiful tools that were used back then by farmers and fishermen for reliable transport and storage. They withstand wind and weather exceptionally well and wear out only very slowly. They also don’t tear and are, overall, very difficult to seriously damage.

Hand-woven baskets

The hand-woven baskets are all crafted using exactly the same technique. This unique construction consists of a single long wire that is hand-woven without the use of any welding equipment. This is also why the baskets are so durable—there are simply no parts of the basket that can fall apart. If you equip the “ Bucket 24 ” with the “Planting Bag” inner liner, it can be used not only for its usual storage purposes but also as a flowerpot with an interesting look. The wire basket is also ideal for storing bottles, as there’s no risk of them tipping over.
