Made of stainless steel or galvanized steel

Korbo ’s baskets are available in two steel varieties—galvanized steel or stainless steel. Both varieties are rust-resistant.
Galvanization is a process used to prevent corrosion by applying a physical barrier of zinc to the surface. Galvanized steel has been used successfully for over 150 years, and over time, the wire develops a beautiful, matte patina. Stainless steel, on the other hand, contains nickel and molybdenum, which combine with the steel to form a completely rust-free alloy. Unlike galvanized wire, stainless steel is not only protected from corrosion on the surface but is completely rust-free. Stainless steel baskets remain shiny, no matter what environments or weather conditions they are exposed to.
