The 20 cm thick mattress combines cotton, wool, latex, and horsehair to create a balanced sleeping experience: The cotton gently conforms to the body, the wool ensures a healthy, temperature-regulating sleeping environment, the latex core dampens movement, and the horsehair insulates against the cold while wicking away heat and moisture. The addition of 5–10% polyester to the cotton gives the futon extra stability and shape retention—without losing its characteristic flexibility.
