A futon sofa and mattress in one
Hippo is a comfortable futon sofa that can easily be converted into a mattress. By releasing the sofa’s backrest and lifting the armrests, Hippo flattens out and becomes a thick, soft mattress that’s perfect for guests and overnight stays. Designed by Anders Backe, Anne-Sofie Voss, Ida Sofie Lange, Lars Wigh, and Troels Rask Pedersen for Karup Design.
