Modern Plastic Bar Stool

Spoon is a modern and original bar stool from the Italian manufacturer Kartell . The stool was designed by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen. Spoon stands out thanks to its curved shape and perfectly crafted curves, making it ideal as a kitchen work stool, a bar stool, or a unique eye-catcher in public spaces. Kartell manufactures the Spoon bar stool from solid-colored polypropylene. What makes it special: The shell is molded in one piece, ensuring the seamless appearance of its numerous curves. The seat is connected to the central leg via a reinforced curve, which ensures flexibility and comfort while also contributing significantly to the Spoon stool’s aesthetic. The seat height of the Spoon bar stool can be adjusted between 56 and 76 centimeters using a gas lift mechanism. Kartell , concealed the gas lift mechanism within the base of the stool. The handle used to adjust the height was also fully integrated into the design by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen: it is barely visible beneath the stool’s seat. Kartell has paired the Spoon Stool’s dynamic design with a vibrant color palette. The stool is available in a variety of colors.
