Hourglass-shaped stool by Marcel Wanders

The " Kartell " Stone is a design piece with very simple forms but a truly exquisite overall appearance: This distinctive piece can be used equally well as a side table or a stool and was designed by Marcel Wanders. A low stool cast in a single piece, it is characterized by a clean, linear, and symmetrical shape reminiscent of an hourglass. An hourglass, however, with a very special surface: irregular in shape, consisting of many geometric, reflective facets, with a unique play of light that creates a very special interplay of colors reminiscent of a diamond. It is precisely because of this exquisite quality that the stool Stone Kartell is available in various gemstone colors. The Stone was designed by Marcel Wanders and is made of polycarbonate.
