The line Maui , designed by Vico Magistretti in 1997, offers a comprehensive range of color options and finishes. It is therefore equally suited to the very specific needs of communal areas—such as offices, laboratories, waiting rooms, lounges, cafés, and restaurants, as well as conference and seminar rooms—and to various private settings, such as dining rooms, children’s rooms, or home offices. The one-piece shell, which serves as both the seat and backrest, is made of polypropylene and rests on a chrome-plated steel frame. Thanks to its unique design, up to 5 Maui chairs (2872) or 7 Maui chairs (2870) can be stacked on top of one another. To form rows of chairs, an unlimited number of chairs of the same type can be connected to one another using a hook attached to the back. Various versions are available: without armrests, with armrests in the same color as the seat, or with a black folding tray. The chair can support up to 120 kg.
