Storage containers with conical lids

Kartell ’s Trullo storage containers are distinctive and whimsical storage solutions for the home. Fabio Novembre drew inspiration for the containers from the round houses, called “trulli,” in the Italian village of Alberobello in the Apulia region. The houses with their cone-shaped roofs are typical of rural areas in Italy. “Alberobello is very close to the town where I was born. Here, the houses are cone-shaped and resemble a magician’s hat. And indeed, these houses are built as if by magic from stacked stones without any binding material,” says Fabio Novembre.
