Unique pendant light made of glass and paper

The Zettel’z 5 pendant light by Ingo Maurer , released in 1997, can be customized and captivates with a complex interplay of light and shadow. Zettel’z 5 is made of stainless steel and heat-resistant, satin-finished glass. The slips of paper, which are attached to the light fixture with small clips, are made of Japanese paper. The pendant light comes with 31 printed and 49 unprinted sheets in DIN A5 format. You can paint or write on the sheets yourself, depending on your preference. Of course, you can also leave them blank. Either way, the sheets cast shadows of varying intensity and size when Zettel’z 5 is turned on. This creates a soft and multi-layered light.
