LED ceiling light with real goose feathers

Birdie’s Nest is a ceiling light by Ingo Maurer} Ingo Maurer that transforms light bulbs into a flock of small birds. Starting from the canopy, the light bulbs are dynamically arranged around the fixture and provide indirect light. Birdie’s Nest is made of metal. The “wings” of the light bulbs are crafted from goose feathers. The canopy contains two integrated transformers. The ceiling light is powered by ten LED spotlights. The light bulbs are included in the package. The Birdie’s Nest ceiling light is designed for rooms with low ceiling heights. It is not suitable for installation in rooms with high humidity or outdoors. “Birdie’s Nest” is a tribute to the light bulb. As with many of Ingo Maurer ’s lights, it takes center stage in the design. Through small, playful touches, Ingo Maurer brings the light bulbs to life, viewing them from a perspective that has rarely been explored before. The concept of the lively, flying light bulb is also found in the Lucellino table lamp and the Birdie chandelier.
