Fly Candle Fly by Ingo Maurer is a pendant light featuring a special candle. Its minimalist design highlights the candle and its soft glow. Fly Candle Fly looks particularly impressive when arranged in a group. Fly Candle Fly was designed by Georg Baldele and his team. The light consists of a special wax candle with a hanging cord and a drip tray. The candle is made of 95% paraffin. The candle burns for approximately 15–20 hours. The burn time may vary depending on the ambient temperature. For safety, the candle has a burn stop approximately 4–5 cm from the end of the candle. It automatically stops burning at this point. Since Fly Candle Fly is a design that involves a burning candle, please observe the following important instructions: The wick must be trimmed regularly. This extends the burn time and prevents smoke from forming. Make sure the drip tray is always hanging horizontally. If necessary, remove any wax once the candle has burned out. However, even with proper handling, it cannot be ruled out that wax may drip from the candle or the drip tray (e.g., due to drafts). Never leave the candle burning unattended. The candle should also be placed out of the reach of children and pets.
