Designer Wooden Bar Stool

This modern bar stool was designed by the design duo Iskos Berlin for the Danish manufacturer HAY . It stands out for its modern design and rustic charm.
Crafted from solid oak, the bar stool’s frame appears to blend seamlessly with the seat. The seat is made of oak veneer that has been processed using an innovative technique. This is the only way to optimally shape the seat and achieve its sophisticated, ergonomic form. All corners of the thin, gently contoured seat are curved away from the body, designed to comfortably accommodate human movement. To ensure maximum stability and seating comfort, the legs are connected with steel tubes that also serve as a footrest.

The Soft Edge is a practical bar stool that combines bold curves with extreme lightness. Thanks to its light weight and sturdy construction, the Soft Edge stool—with a seat height of 65 cm or 75 cm—is ideal for kitchen counters and bar tables. Additional versions of the stool in various colors are available upon request.
