The " Soft Edge 40 " chair stands out for its minimalist, clean-lined design. Designed by the duo Iskos-Berlin, the chair impresses with its outstanding quality and attention to detail. In collaboration with the Danish manufacturer HAY , Iskos-Berlin developed a wooden chair that is not only visually appealing but also ergonomic, with a delicate charm.

Sturdy, stackable chair

To achieve the particularly comfortable, ergonomic curves, an innovative technique for shaping plywood was employed. This is a relatively uncommon manufacturing technique that enables an almost three-dimensional surface shaping. Its rounded seat and backrest surfaces give this otherwise simple chair a comfortable and inviting appearance.

Contrasts: Wood + Steel

The powder-coated steel legs provide an exciting contrast to the wood-veneer seat. They give the chair an industrial flair and perform well in a wide variety of settings. Another advantage: Thanks to its lightweight design, up to eight chairs can be stacked on top of one another. This makes the chair ideal for bars and restaurants, as it can be stored in a space-saving manner when not in use. As part of the Soft Edge series, the HAY Chair 40 is available in various colors.
