The Palissade bench HAY was created based on a design by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Since the seat consists of individual slats, rainwater can easily drain away, allowing the bench to remain outside even in bad weather. Thanks to its optimal seat height of 45 cm, the bench not only serves as seating when paired with a dining table but also works wonderfully as a freestanding piece or placed against a house wall. With a length of 120 cm, the bench comfortably seats about 3 people during cozy barbecue evenings.
