Without further ado, he decided to create his own lamps that would meet his aesthetic vision.\r\n\u003ch3\u003eWire frame with polymer coating\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\nAs the base for his lamp, he used a dynamically shaped steel wire frame, which he coated with a plastic spray developed by the U.S. military. This created a thin-walled surface that allowed light to shine through gently. Even today, the Nelson Saucer Crisscross Bubble pendant lamp is manufactured in the same factory as it was in the 1950s.\r\nThanks to the semi-transparent polymer, the light emitted is glare-free, making the fixture perfect for hanging over a dining table or desk.
