At the time, Nelson was looking for lighting for his office and drew inspiration from a series of satin-finish Swedish pendant lamps. However, since the price of the lights was too high for him, he decided to create his own. For his design, he crafted a steel wire frame and used a plastic spray developed by the U.S. military. This coated the frame like a cocoon, creating a uniquely light and elegant look. The lamp went into mass production and is still manufactured today in the same factory as back then.\r\n\u003ch3\u003eSoft, glare-free light\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\nThe light shines gently through the thin-walled polymer, providing a pleasant, glare-free illumination in the room. The lamp can be stylishly arranged individually or in groups above a dining table or desk.
