Pendant Light with Pleated Shade

The Carmen LED pendant light from Hartô stands out for its plate-shaped pleated shade, which looks both elegant and slightly whimsical. The shade is made of PES fabric—that is, 100% polyester with a PVC coating. The material is precisely pleated and features an LED light and a diffuser disc inside. As a result, the pleats radiating from the center resemble sunbeams, gently illuminated by the LED light.

When arranged individually or in groups of various sizes on the ceiling, these pendant lights almost look like landing UFOs. Placed above a dining table or desk—or even used as a kitchen light—Carmen adds elegant accents and serves as a stunning focal point in any space. The Belgian design studio PaulinePlusLuis is responsible for the lamp’s design. The lamp is available in various diameters and colors. A fabric-covered cable and a ceiling rose are included with the lamp.
