The Private series from Gubi was designed by the duo Space Copenhagen and combines Scandinavian minimalism with Japanese craft traditions. Characteristic of the series are the recessed legs, which are connected by a subtle wooden strip. The Private series emphasizes clean shapes and lines, symmetry, and a timeless aesthetic. This makes the pieces a perfect fit for any setting.
For the “ Private ” Collection, we drew inspiration from the beauty of vintage Japanese storage and display furniture—in fact, the defining detail of each piece is a traditional Japanese wood joint.
