Award-Winning Dining Chair

Skagerak ’s “ Vester Chair ” is a comfortable dining chair with a well-proportioned design. Discreetly elegant and understated, the chair retains its dynamism despite its many linear elements and is suitable for both private and public spaces, such as restaurants. This also impressed the jury of the 2020 Danish Design Awards, which is why Vester was named Furniture of the Year.
The chair was designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm for the Danish Svinkløv Badehotel.

Oak and brass details

Several unique details set the Vester chair by Skagerak apart: a horizontal brass rod that indicates where the chair can be pulled out, legs that extend upward into the backrest and form a small hook on which handbags or jackets can be hung, and a frame made of gold-oiled oak that provides a natural contrast to the brass details.
