Teak Garden Bench with Stainless Steel Frame

The Lilium Skagerak ’s bench was created in collaboration with Bjarke Ingels and is characterized by its airy, light appearance. The bench can be used outdoors and can be incorporated into a lounge area with other pieces from the Lilium series. The seat of the Lilium is made of sturdy teak, which is ideal for outdoor use. Slim slats allow rainwater to drain quickly and give the bench an airy, open look. The base is a crossed stainless steel frame with clean lines and a slender silhouette. Together, they create a modern bench that, when placed on a balcony, terrace, or in front of the house, invites you to relax and unwind. A matching seat cushion provides even more comfort.

Care

Since the teak is untreated, the surface will develop a patina over time and eventually take on a beautiful silver-gray color. If you’d like to preserve or enhance the original honey-gold color, apply a suitable furniture oil regularly. No matter what you decide, thanks to its high natural oil content, the wood is resistant to wind and weather. In winter, it’s recommended to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or basement.
