Made of teak with SunTexture

Skagerak manufactures the Columbus Sun Bed made from solid teak, a hard and durable type of wood. Due to its high content of natural impregnating oils, teak is very resistant to rot and fungal attack. Teak is therefore an ideal material for garden loungers. The fabric cover of the Columbus Sun Bed consists of SunTexture. This is a synthetic fabric with extremely good properties for outdoor use, as it is light and flexible, does not rot and is resistant to bleaching ultraviolet sunlight. Raindrops can quickly penetrate the open fabric, so SunTexture dries quickly. These properties mean that SunTexture requires no special care and only needs to be cleaned with normal soapy water.
