Elegant Bauhaus-Style Pendant Light

Designed by German silversmith Christian Dell beginning in the early 1930s, the KAISER idell 6631 light essentially embodies the style of the Bauhaus movement of that era. The light is characterized by its formal coherence and, at the same time, captivates with just a few basic structural elements. The smooth-surfaced reflector shade defines its form. Attached to the top of the reflector is the socket dome, which bears the embossed inscription “ORIGINAL KAISERidell.”

The lamp has been adapted to meet current technical standards, including all certification marks. In terms of design, quality, and craftsmanship, it is identical to the original in every detail. This “ & ” “German piece of lighting culture & ” is reissued and produced in Denmark by the & “KAISERidell A/S &,” headquartered in Vejle.
The 6631 Luxus lamps even achieved worldwide fame. Since the 1960s, they have appeared time and again on screen in numerous versions. They were particularly prominent on the desks of famous TV detectives and investigators. That’s why the 6631 table lamp is also affectionately called the “detective lamp.” The KAISER idell 6631 lamp is made of wet-painted sheet steel and (chrome-plated) brass.
