Timeless Table Lamp in Bauhaus Design

Designed in 1931 by German silversmith Christian Dell, the KAISER Idell table lamp 6556-T essentially embodies the style of the Bauhaus movement of that era. With its timeless design, it looks great in any setting—whether on a desk in the office, as a bedside lamp, or on a side table in the living room. The lamp is characterized by its formal coherence and, at the same time, captivates with just a few basic components. The ingenious shape of the reflector, combined with the optimal lamp position and the white interior finish, enables technically sophisticated light control.

A reissue of the original from the 1930s

Attached to the top of the reflector is the socket dome, which is embossed with the inscription “ & ‘ORIGINAL KAISERidell & ’.” The joints—extremely well-thought-out in their function, highly distinctive, yet simply designed—allow for maximum flexibility and versatility during use.
The upper tilt joint features an elegantly shaped screw-on clamp that is robust yet appears delicate. The lower tilt joint is concealed within the base of the table lamp. The harmoniously shaped lamp arm visually echoes the silhouette of the reflector shade. Made of sheet steel and available in various colors.
