Modern Oak Table by Freistil

The Shakers, a Christian free church from the United States, are known not only for their shaking dance and their abstinence, but also for their furniture, which is of the highest quality and free of unnecessary embellishments and ornamentation. It was precisely this 1 9. -century furniture that inspired the freistil design team to create the 156 dining table.
The visible, handcrafted details are the only adornment on this minimalist table, which stands out pleasantly from oversized, modern dining tables and demonstrates that solid wood and lightness are not a contradiction.

Solid Wood Table

The entire dining table, measuring 160 x 84 cm with a height of 76 cm, is crafted from solid oak and finished with oil. The table seats four to six people, depending on the seating arrangement.
In addition to the dining table in various sizes, the “ 156 ” series also includes the matching “ 156 ” bench, which can be complemented with coordinating cushions.
