Cedar Wood and Porcelain Bird Feeder

“As summer comes to an end and winter sets in, we mustn’t forget the birds!” True to this motto, Dutch designer Frederik Roijé has created “Dish of Desire,” a series of bird feeders that are not only visually appealing but also offer birds the greatest possible comfort. Birds, too, need a balanced diet. But especially in winter, it’s difficult for our feathered friends to find enough food. That’s why Frederik Roijé designed his “Dish of Desire” feeder so that different types of food can be offered on multiple levels. Dish of Desire is available in various sizes. Two of the models are protected from rain, snow, and sun by a dome, while the other two versions do not have a dome but instead feature more levels for scattering the food. Frederik Roijé chose cedar wood, porcelain, and aluminum as materials for his feeding station. All materials are highly weather-resistant. The dark cedar wood also provides a pleasant visual contrast without being obtrusive. Dish of Desire can easily be mounted on a tree, on the balcony, or on the patio.
