Floor lamp with a funnel-shaped design

The Mite floor lamp was designed in 2000 by Marc Sadler for Foscarini . It was awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 2001 for its dynamic design. The light from the Mite floor lamp is dimmable. When switched on, the entire body of the Mite floor lamp lights up. The delicately striped body thus becomes a fascinating luminous object and lends vitality to the soft, indirect light it emits. Marc Sadler’s design skillfully blends natural forms with modern elegance. Foscarini offers the Mite floor lamp in yellow and black. Depending on the version, the lamp’s material also varies: Mite it consists of a glass fabric with yellow Kevlar fibers or black carbon fibers. The metal base is chrome-plated.
