Playful Table Lamp

Binic is a small table lamp with a lively design available in six different colors. The lamp, produced by Foscarini , was designed by French designer Ionna Vautrin. For Binic Ionna Vautrin drew inspiration from her native region, Brittany, the sea there, and seafaring. The main inspiration for the small lamp was the ships’ windsocks. The word Binic itself is the Breton term for a lighthouse on the coast.

Binic It projects a soft light, much like a private lighthouse, at an angle downward. The light does not emanate directly from the bulb but is diffused through a panel.

Material

Binic features an aluminum base and a polycarbonate shade. The upper, rounded section with a glossy surface and a satin-finished conical base seems to defy gravity. Nevertheless, Binic absolutely stable as a whole, since the difference in weight is purely visual.

Designer Ionna Vautrin has Binic a palette of six colors, thereby adding another dimension to the lamp. White, green, red, orange, teal, gray: a wide range of shades for a designer product, so that it can be integrated into various interior styles, but above all so that it matches the personality of the person who Binic chose it. Binic It conveys empathy and captivates with its unique character.
