Concrete Light Fixture

The Aplomb Large pendant light by Foscarini combines concrete with a design that is both functional and decorative. The light was created by designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, who together form the design duo LucidiPevere. With its understated appearance, the elegant Aplomb concrete pendant lamp makes a statement in any setting, from architectural spaces to private living areas. The innovative and unconventional use of concrete as a material lends the lamp a rugged charm.

Wide-Area Lighting

Unlike the original Aplomb light, the Large version does not provide spot lighting; instead, thanks to its wide shade, it illuminates large areas beneath it. When hung in groups—even in combination with the small version—it creates an attractive lighting ensemble that blends seamlessly into any setting. The Aplomb is also available in a version with a dimmer to adjust the light intensity as needed. The pendant light is available in marrone, gray, and white finishes. For its unique combination of concrete—an unusual material for lighting—and its understated design, the Aplomb luminaire was named “Light of the Year” in 2011 by Foscarini and Lucidi Pevere.
