Stoneware serving bowl from the iconic Ildpot series

In the 1970s, the Ildpot series by FDB Møbler was welcomed into Danish households as a completely new type of cookware. Women had recently entered the workforce, which changed the way food was cooked and served. Items from the Ildpot series could be taken straight from the freezer to the oven and then to the dining table. This made preparing dinner both easier and more manageable. The design was the brainchild of the renowned Danish designer and architect Grethe Meyer. Now, FDB is reintroducing this iconic stoneware series in the form of mugs, plates, and serving bowls. And just as before, the products impress with their durability and resilience. The tableware is suitable for use in the oven and on the grill, as well as in the freezer and microwave. Furthermore, it stands out with its natural stoneware surface and minimalist design, which immediately reveals its meticulous craftsmanship.
