The tea maker from Eva Solo , designed by Claus Jensen and Hendrik Holbæk of Tools Design, offers two brewing options and is therefore suitable for all types of tea; teas without tannins, such as herbal tea, can be added directly to the teapot. If you then insert the filter, the leaves remain in the teapot when pouring. However, the tea maker really shows its true brilliance when you want to brew tea that should steep for only a specific amount of time, such as black tea. To do this, place the tea leaves directly into the filter, and once the steeping time is up, press down on the plunger in the patented filter. The drip-free teapot is equipped with a tilting lid that opens automatically when pouring. Another special feature is the included wool cover. Not only does it look stylish, but it also keeps the tea warm, much like a thermos.
