Design House Stockholm Fia carafe was designed by Nina Jobs, who, in her pursuit of simplicity, endowed it with functional, natural shapes and colors. Despite the simple form, the Swedish designer couldn’t resist incorporating a clever detail into the hand-blown carafe. This feature lies in the way the lid can be stored and its shape. The carafe from the Nordic design manufacturer Design House Stockholm —which can be used for wine and water or as a flower vase—is named after the Swedish version of the board game “ & ” (“Mensch ärgere dich nicht” & ) due to its playful character. This playfulness is underscored by the straight lines, as well as by the precisely cut spheres in various crystal colors.
