Sideboard made of elegant woven reed

The Air sideboard was designed by Mathieu Gustafsson for the Swedish label Design House Stockholm . With his Swedish and French roots, the designer has successfully created a unique blend of both cultures in the design of this airy sideboard. Light, natural materials are combined here with a touch of elegance. Air It is a storage piece crafted from an orderly, graphic frame structure combined with walls made of traditional reed wickerwork, thereby conveying a special sense of lightness and transparency.

Airy storage solution

The wickerwork draws the viewer’s attention to the defining surface while also creating a sense of depth. Upon closer inspection, one can glimpse what lies behind the doors without the contents appearing intrusive. In addition, the open structure allows air to circulate through the piece. This feature is particularly advantageous when storing clothing or electronic devices. Material

The sideboard’s frame is made of lacquered birch wood and MDF. It is lined with high-quality woven reed. Access openings for power cables are provided. The Air collection also includes a narrow wardrobe.
