The " KK97170 Safari " stool from Carl Hansen was designed by Kaare Klint’s son, Esben, after his father’s death. Easy to assemble without tools, the stool is perfectly matched to the Safari Chair. Kaare Klint’s Safari Chair, introduced in 1933, was one of the first chairs designed for self-assembly. The stool offers a comfortable place to relax and can be used flexibly throughout the living area.

Made of ash, canvas, and leather

The four-legged stool features a frame made of oiled ash wood. The seat is upholstered in Kvadrat’s Canvas fabric, composed of 90% virgin wool and 10% nylon. Buckles made of natural leather keep the structure stable and add a sophisticated touch. Whether on its own or paired with the KK47000 Safari Chair, this practical and timeless stool is sure to be an eye-catcher in a variety of home settings.

Limited Edition in Denim

To mark London Craft Week 2019, Carl Hansen has teamed up with the traditional British manufacturer Hiut Denim to release a new version of the stool, capturing the spirit of the times.
