“ Kettle ” by Audo is a traditional teapot with a modern design and a tribute to the soothing and relaxing act of drinking tea. Kettle was designed by Norm Architects. The teapot is made of glass and features a practical tea infuser in the center, allowing you to brew your tea fresh. Tea has become an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, and brewing this hot beverage has become an almost meditative ritual. “Tea is so much more than a cup of hot water. We believe that all the health benefits tea offers deserve a beautiful teapot where you can also see the tea steeping,” say designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn of Norm Architects.

Asian Zen Philosophy in Scandinavian Design

With this in mind, the designers at Norm created the “ Kettle ” teapot for Audo . It is a transparent blend of Asian Zen philosophy and modern Scandinavian architecture—where two traditions come together. With its visual clarity, “ Kettle ” guarantees a visual tea experience with a truly Scandinavian touch. A charming yet practical detail is the tea infuser placed in the center of the teapot. Once the tea has steeped long enough, you simply pull the infuser out by its silicone cord. “The traditional red silk string in old books gave us the idea for the silicone cord. We also added a small label at the end, just like on a tea bag, ” say the designers at Norm.
