Iconic desk lamp with modern lighting technology

Since 1987, the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide has been producing the Tolomeo lamp, designed by Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi. With Tolomeo, the design duo created a groundbreaking and extremely successful desk lamp that can now be found on the desks of countless architecture firms and agencies. The Tolomeo Midi LED desk lamp from the Italian design manufacturer Artemide is an extension of the world-renowned Tolomeo product line. Equipped with an LED spot, this desk lamp is ideal for work environments. The direct light is dimmable and can be adjusted by repositioning the lamp head. While retaining the compact dimensions of the Tolomeo micro’s diffuser, the Tolomeo Midi’s power output has been increased to 9W. In addition, the dimensions of the structure and arms have been increased compared to the original version. This makes it easier to place on desks. The typical features of the Tolomeo family—the highly articulated arm, the sleek aluminum design, and the hat-shaped shade—are, of course, also found in the Tolomeo Midi LED desk lamp. Artemide manufactures the entire Tolomeo Midi LED from aluminum.
