Versatile and Timeless Atelier Chair

Artek ’s Atelier Chair is a versatile and

timeless

chair designed by TAF Architects in 2018. The chair was designed for the restaurant at the National Museum in Stockholm, which is styled to resemble an artist’s studio—hence the chair’s name. Commissioned by the museum as part of an initiative to promote modern Nordic design, the Atelier Chair is compact, lightweight, and stackable.

Stackable Wooden Chair

Available in various wood types and colors, the versatile Artek chair looks equally at home at a desk or dining table, in a conference room, or in a restaurant. Even in larger spaces, such as an auditorium, this stackable chair—with a seat height of 45.5 cm—impresses with its lightweight and compact dimensions. A nice detail is the connecting rods that encircle the front legs.
