The round REB 007 Kaari wall shelf from Artek is part of an innovative collection by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by a unique table leg. In the shelf, the table leg is reimagined and serves as a bracket for the round shelf top.

Combination of Wood and Metal

Diagonal, curved steel struts—which provide support for the tables in the collection—now offer horizontal stability to the round wooden shelf top. The combination of solid oak and delicate metal arches gives the pieces a surprisingly light appearance. It is a design that supports a wide variety of tabletops and shelves—large and small, round and square, deep and tall.

Unique Surface

The surface of the round tabletop consists of linoleum and high-pressure laminate (HPL), which absorb and reflect light in different ways. Over time, these materials will develop a truly unique surface.
