The Fläpps shelf from Ambivalenz is a foldable wall shelf that sits compactly and extremely flat against the wall when folded and transforms into a multifunctional piece of furniture when unfolded. Available in various lengths, heights, and colors—with one or more shelves—the Fläpps shelf is ready for any situation, allowing you to customize your living space with the shelves to suit your individual needs. An optional add-on is also available that transforms all Fläpps shallow wall shelves into a shoe rack with a clever design feature. The shelves are made of birch plywood with stainless steel hinges. They are hand-painted and available in various colors. A small felt loop makes it easy to fold down the shelf. All shelves can be combined with each other and with other pieces from the Fläpps series. Together, they can create a custom-designed wall that takes up no space when folded down and is a true space-saving marvel when unfolded. The entire Fläpps series is produced near Berlin.
