Folding Coat Rack with Clothes Rod

The Fläpps clothes rod from Ambivalenz appears at first glance to be an ordinary wall shelf Ambivalenz and is only recognizable as a clothes rod with additional storage upon closer inspection, once the coat rack has been unfolded. When folded, only a narrow slit hints at its additional function. Coats, jackets, bags, scarves, and much more can be hung on the coat rack using hooks and hangers. The shelf is designed for keys, reading glasses, and a wallet.

Made of birch multiplex with a felt loop

The coat rack is made of birch multiplex. It is then hand-finished with a coat of varnish and is available in various colors. The hinges for folding it down are made of stainless steel, and a small felt loop makes it easier to fold down. All furniture from the “ Fläpps ” series can be combined with one another. This allows you to create individually designed living and workspaces that are perfectly tailored to your own needs. The entire “ Fläpps ” series is produced near Berlin.
