Stylish 700-watt stand mixer with many features

The Plissé stand mixer from Alessi not only looks great, but also impresses with a range of features that make preparing a delicious smoothie a breeze. This design piece was created by Michele De Lucchi. The square container is particularly lightweight and features a large handle that fits comfortably in the hand. Measurement markings in liters, cups, and ounces ensure precise portioning of ingredients, and the container has a special spout to prevent spills when pouring. An airtight silicone lid prevents liquids from splashing out, and thanks to an opening and a small measuring cup, ingredients can still be added during the blending process. With 700 watts and five speed settings, it turns fruits and vegetables into a velvety smoothie or a smooth sauce in no time. The blender also features a pulse button that boosts the blades’ speed to maximum. Two sensors on the blender ensure safe operation by stopping the blending process if the container isn’t properly secured, so the appliance only runs when all safety criteria are met. The base is also non-slip. Conveniently, the blades can be removed from the container, allowing the container to be washed in the dishwasher.

Plastic and stainless steel in a pleated design and various colors

The lower housing is made of plastic and—characteristic of the Plissé collection—is adorned with vertical grooves, creating an elegant look that’s sure to catch the eye in any kitchen. This look is enhanced by the integrated cord, which can be hidden under the base of the appliance. The stand mixer’s container is made of high-quality thermoplastic, which is extremely lightweight, glossy, and transparent. At the same time, the material impresses with its high (thermal) resistance, BPA-free composition, and recyclability. The product is available in many different colors.
