Stainless Steel Basket

Designed by Mario Trimarchi, the La Stanza dello Scirocco fruit bowl is part of a poetic design series inspired by a quiet room in old Sicilian country houses—the “Room of the Scirocco,” where people would retreat to escape the heat and the wind. The design evokes scraps of paper swirled by the wind, coming together to form a seemingly floating structure. Crafted from high-quality, polished 18/10 stainless steel, it creates a sophisticated interplay of light, shadow, and geometry. The asymmetrical design gives the bowl a unique dynamism and makes it an elegant centerpiece on any table—whether as a fruit bowl, decorative bowl, or design object.
