Stylish glass and stainless steel storage jar

The Dressed storage jar is part of the collection of the same name by Marcel Wanders. With its delicate lid decoration and elegant combination of glass and stainless steel, the storage jar is a successful blend of modern form and classic accents. Traditionally, decorative elements are always placed on the prominent and visible parts of an object. Wanders, on the other hand, places them in unobtrusive, slightly hidden spots—sometimes even in places that are normally out of sight. With Wanders, one might therefore speak of an “introverted” form of decoration. Even the name of the collection, “Dressed,” suggests a design conceived like a beautiful dress: It is meant to highlight the contents without stealing the show.
